It’s Friday night Delight: Fancy Wine and Seafood

How many of us are dreaming of a relaxing evening by having a cold glass of white wine with some tasty seafood? If your imagination goes as far as mine, then now is the right time to enjoy a glass of aromatic white wine and to start preparing a quick but delicious Prawn Vesuvius dish. With only 5 minutes’ preparation and 10 minutes to cook, you can eat and drink in no time.

Who likes prawns? Here our advice on how to create a tasty dish with an easy and simple recipe.

Preparation time: 5 minute

Cooking time: 10 minute

Serves: 2-4 people


  • Prawns 16
  • 50g butter
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 an onion
  • Parsley
  • Salt
  • Black pepper.

Step 1. Chop the onions and carrot and add the butter; melt the butter until golden. Then add the washed prawns and some parsley.

Step 2. Add the wine and let it cook for 10 minutes over a low heat.

Step 3. When cooked add some black pepper and place the prawns on a plate with the sauce.

When ready, you can either imagine a relaxing place where you can join your prawns and wine, or if you are lucky you are already there.
